Sending a Text Message with JustCall

Send SMS and MMS messages to contacts directly from JustCall. Messages go through your JustCall number, keeping your personal phone number private and logging every conversation automatically.

Send a message from the web app

  1. Open JustCall in your browser or desktop app
  2. Click the SMS icon in the left sidebar, or open the Conversations section
  3. Click New Message
  4. Select the JustCall number you want to send from
  5. Enter the recipient's phone number (include country code for international)
  6. Type your message and click Send

Messages appear in a threaded conversation view. Replies from the recipient show up in the same thread.


Send a message from the Chrome extension

  1. Click the JustCall icon in your Chrome toolbar
  2. Select the SMS tab
  3. Enter the recipient number and your message
  4. Click Send

You can also click any phone number on a web page and choose Send SMS from the JustCall popup.


Send a message from your CRM

With a CRM integration connected, you can send SMS directly from contact records in HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, and other supported CRMs. Messages log automatically to the contact.

MMS is available on US and Canadian numbers. International numbers support SMS only.


Bulk SMS

On Pro plans and above, you can send bulk SMS to multiple contacts at once:

  1. Go to Messaging > Bulk SMS
  2. Upload a contact list or select from your existing contacts
  3. Write your message (supports personalization variables)
  4. Schedule or send immediately

Bulk SMS supports up to 5,000 messages per send on Pro and above.


Message templates

Save time by creating reusable message templates:

  1. Go to Settings > SMS Templates
  2. Click Create Template
  3. Write your message with optional personalization variables (contact name, company, etc.)
  4. Save the template

Templates are available to all team members when composing messages.


US messaging requirements

If you send SMS from US phone numbers, you must complete 10DLC registration (10-Digit Long Code). This is a carrier requirement that verifies your business identity and use case. Without registration, your messages may be blocked or throttled.

Go to Settings > Compliance Center to complete your 10DLC registration.
