Making a Call with JustCall
Making a Call with JustCall
You can make calls from JustCall using your web browser, desktop app, mobile app, or Chrome extension. Your caller ID displays your JustCall number, and every call is automatically logged and transcribed.
Available on: All plans
From the web app or desktop app
- Open JustCall in your browser or desktop app
- Click the Dialer icon in the bottom-right corner
- Select the JustCall number you want to call from (your caller ID)
- Enter the phone number you want to call — include the country code for international calls
- Click the Call button
The call connects through your internet connection. Use a headset for the best audio quality.
From the Chrome extension
- Click the JustCall icon in your Chrome toolbar
- Enter a phone number in the dialer, or click any phone number on a web page to trigger click-to-call
- Select your outbound number if you have more than one
- The call launches in the extension window
The Chrome extension also lets you access recent calls, send SMS, and view notifications without switching to the full dashboard.
From the mobile app
- Open the JustCall app on iOS or Android
- Tap the Dialer tab
- Enter the number or select a contact
- Tap Call
Calls made through the mobile app use your data connection (Wi-Fi or cellular data), not your carrier minutes.
From your CRM
If you have connected a CRM integration (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, etc.), click any phone number inside your CRM to launch a call directly from JustCall. The call logs automatically to the contact record.
During the call
While on an active call, you can:
- Mute/unmute your microphone
- Hold the call
- Transfer the call to another team member
- Record the call (if recording is enabled for your number)
- Add notes that save to the call log
- Open the dialer to enter DTMF tones (for navigating phone menus)
After the call
Every call is logged automatically in your JustCall dashboard under Calls. If AI Transcription is enabled (included on all plans), you will also see:
- Full transcript of the conversation
- Call summary with key points
- Action items extracted by AI
- Sentiment analysis (Pro Plus and above)
- AI call score (Pro Plus and above)
Tips for call quality
- Use a wired headset or high-quality Bluetooth headset
- Connect to a stable internet connection (Wi-Fi or Ethernet preferred over cellular)
- Close bandwidth-heavy applications during calls
- If you experience audio issues, run a network test from Settings > Network Test
