Customize Notification Preferences

Control which events trigger alerts and how you receive them. Turn off notifications you do not need, choose your preferred delivery channel, and set quiet hours so you are not disturbed outside work.

Available on: All plans

Access your notification settings

  1. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner
  2. Select Settings > Notifications
  3. You see a list of event types with toggle controls for each delivery channel

Event types you can configure

EventWhat triggers it
Missed callA call rang on your number and was not answered
New SMSAn inbound text message arrives
VoicemailA caller leaves a voicemail
AssignmentA call, conversation, or task is assigned to you
MentionA teammate mentions you in a note or comment
Low creditsAccount credit balance drops below threshold (admins only)

Delivery channels

For each event type, choose one or more delivery channels:

  • In-app — Alert appears in the Notification Center (bell icon)
  • Email — Notification sent to your JustCall login email
  • Push — Mobile push notification (requires JustCall mobile app)
  • Desktop — Browser notification popup (requires browser permission)

Toggle each channel on or off per event type. For example, you might want in-app and desktop alerts for missed calls but only email for voicemails.

Quiet hours

Quiet hours suppress all notifications during a time window you define. This is useful if you do not want alerts outside your working hours.

  1. Go to Settings > Notifications > Quiet Hours
  2. Toggle on Enable Quiet Hours
  3. Set the start and end time
  4. Choose which days of the week quiet hours apply

During quiet hours, notifications are still logged in the Notification Center — they just do not trigger audible or visual alerts on your devices.

Admin overrides

Account admins can set default notification preferences for the entire team. Individual team members can then adjust their own settings within the boundaries the admin allows. Critical system alerts (such as low credit balance) cannot be turned off by team members.
