How to Download and Use the JustCall Desktop App

The JustCall desktop app gives you a dedicated window for calling and messaging — separate from your browser. Calls come through even when your browser is closed, and you get persistent system notifications so you never miss an incoming call.

Available on: All plans

Download and install

Windows

  1. Log in to your JustCall dashboard
  2. Go to Settings > Apps (or download from the JustCall website)
  3. Click Download for Windows
  4. Run the installer and follow the prompts
  5. Open JustCall from your Start menu or desktop shortcut

Requirement: Windows 10 or later

macOS

  1. Log in to your JustCall dashboard
  2. Go to Settings > Apps (or download from the JustCall website)
  3. Click Download for Mac
  4. Open the .dmg file and drag JustCall to your Applications folder
  5. Launch JustCall from Applications

Requirement: macOS 11 (Big Sur) or later

Open the desktop app and sign in with your JustCall credentials. The app keeps you signed in across sessions — you do not need to log in each time.

The desktop app and web app share the same account. Changes in one appear in the other. You can use both simultaneously, but incoming calls ring on whichever is active.

Keep the app running

For reliable incoming call notifications, keep the desktop app running in the background. On macOS, minimize it to the dock. On Windows, minimize it to the system tray.

If you close the app entirely, incoming calls will still ring on the mobile app (if installed) or the web app (if open).

Updates

The desktop app updates automatically. When a new version is available, you see an update notification. Click to install — the process takes a few seconds and does not interrupt active calls.
