Agent Onboarding Checklist
Joining your team on JustCall? Complete these 5 steps in your first hour to start making calls, sending messages, and using AI insights.
Your admin has already set up the account, added numbers, and connected the CRM. This checklist covers what you need to do on your end.

Step 1: Accept Your Invitation and Log In
- Check your email for the JustCall invitation from your admin.
- Click the invitation link and create your password.
- Log in at app.justcall.io.
If your company uses single sign-on (SSO), click Sign in with Google or Sign in with Microsoft instead of creating a separate password.
Step 2: Set Your Availability
Your availability settings control whether calls ring through to you.
- Click your profile avatar in the bottom-left corner.
- Set your status to Online so calls can reach you.
- Set your call receiving preference: web app, desktop app, or forward to your mobile number.
- If your admin has configured wrap-up time, review the setting — this is the buffer period after each call where you handle notes and CRM updates before the next call rings.
Tip: If you step away from your desk, switch your status to Offline or set an unavailability reason so calls route to another team member.
Step 3: Make a Test Call and Send a Test Message
Make your first call
- Click the dialer icon in the navigation bar.
- Enter a phone number or search for a contact.
- Select the JustCall number you want to call from (if you have more than one).
- Click the call button.
Send your first text
- Go to SMS/MMS in the navigation bar.
- Click New Message.
- Enter a phone number or select a contact.
- Type your message and click Send.
If you are in the US and see a message about 10DLC registration, your admin needs to complete SMS compliance registration before you can send texts. Check with your admin.
Step 4: Connect Your Browser and Devices
JustCall works on multiple devices. Set up the ones you use:

| Desktop app | Download from your JustCall dashboard (Mac and Windows available). |
| Mobile app | Download JustCall from the App Store (iOS 15+) or Google Play (Android 8.0+). Log in with the same credentials. |
| Chrome extension | Install from the Chrome Web Store. Enables click-to-call from any web page, including your CRM. |
You can receive calls on all connected devices simultaneously.
Step 5: Learn the AI Tools Available to You
JustCall automatically transcribes and analyzes every call. After each call, you can access:
- Call summary — an AI-generated recap of what was discussed
- Action items — tasks and follow-ups mentioned during the call
- Smart chapters — the call transcript broken into navigable sections
On Pro Plus and above, you also get sentiment analysis (how the conversation tone shifted over time) and AI call scoring (an automatic 0–100 score on every call).
Access these from the JustCall AI section in your navigation bar, or from any call record in your call log.
If your team has AI Smart Replies enabled for SMS, you will see suggested responses when you open a conversation in the SMS inbox. Review the suggestion, edit if needed, and send.
