Configure Mobile Notifications for JustCall
Control which alerts reach your phone and when. Turn on the notifications that matter for your role, mute the rest, and use business hours auto-mute so work does not follow you home.

Notification types
JustCall mobile app sends three categories of notifications:
| Notification | What triggers it |
|---|---|
| Call alerts | Incoming call to your JustCall number or ring group |
| SMS alerts | New text message or reply in an assigned conversation |
| Voicemail alerts | New voicemail left on your JustCall number |
Each category can be enabled or disabled independently.
Configure notification preferences
- Open the JustCall app and go to Settings > Notifications
- Toggle each notification type on or off:
- Incoming calls — ring and vibration for inbound calls
- New SMS — alert for incoming text messages
- Voicemail — alert when a new voicemail is recorded
- Changes take effect immediately
Do Not Disturb mode
When you need uninterrupted focus, enable Do Not Disturb in the JustCall app:
- Go to Settings > Do Not Disturb
- Toggle DND on
- All JustCall notifications are silenced while DND is active
Your agent status automatically switches to DND, which affects call routing — incoming calls skip your device and go to the next available agent or voicemail. Remember to turn DND off when you are ready to take calls again.
Business hours auto-mute
Automatically silence notifications outside your working hours:
- Go to Settings > Business Hours
- Set your working schedule (days and times)
- Enable Auto-mute outside business hours
Outside your defined hours, the app suppresses all notifications. Calls route according to your team's after-hours rules. When business hours resume, notifications turn back on automatically.
OS-level notification settings
If you are not receiving notifications at all, verify that your phone's OS allows JustCall to send them:
- iOS: Settings > Notifications > JustCall — ensure Allow Notifications is on, and alert style is set to Banners or Alerts
- Android: Settings > Apps > JustCall > Notifications — ensure all notification channels are enabled
