Download and Set Up the JustCall Android App

The JustCall Android app puts your business phone system in your pocket. Make calls, send texts, and manage conversations using your JustCall numbers — keeping your personal number private.

Available on: All plans

Download and install

1. Open the Google Play Store on your Android device
2. Search for "JustCall"
3. Tap Install
4. Open JustCall from your app drawer

Requirement: Android 8.0 (Oreo) or later

Sign in

1. Open the JustCall app
2. Enter your JustCall email and password
3. Tap Log In

For SSO-enabled accounts, tap Sign in with SSO and enter your company domain. The app keeps you signed in between sessions.

Enable notification permissions

Notifications ensure incoming calls and messages reach you in real time:

1. When prompted after first login, tap Allow to enable notifications
2. If you skipped the prompt, go to Android Settings > Apps > JustCall > Notifications and enable all notification categories

On Android 13 and later, apps must explicitly request notification permission. If you denied it initially, you need to enable it manually in Settings.

Exclude from battery optimization

Android's battery optimization can delay or block notifications. Exclude JustCall to keep it running reliably:

1. Go to Android Settings > Battery > Battery Optimization (path varies by manufacturer)
2. Find JustCall in the app list
3. Select Don't optimize or Unrestricted

On Samsung devices, also disable Sleeping apps for JustCall under Device Care > Battery > Background usage limits.

Grant microphone access

1. When you make or receive your first call, Android prompts for microphone permission — tap Allow
2. If previously denied, go to Android Settings > Apps > JustCall > Permissions > Microphone > Allow only while using the app

Verify your setup

1. Ask a colleague to call one of your JustCall numbers
2. Your device should show an incoming call notification
3. Answer and confirm two-way audio works

If calls do not come through, check that notifications are enabled and battery optimization is disabled for JustCall.
