Make Outbound Calls from the JustCall Mobile App
Make Outbound Calls from the JustCall Mobile App
Start calls from your phone using your JustCall business numbers. Recipients see your JustCall number on their caller ID — not your personal mobile number. You can dial manually, tap a contact, or call back from recent history.
Available on: All plans
Dial a number
- Open the JustCall app and tap the Dial Pad icon
- Enter the phone number including country code
- Select your outbound number from the dropdown at the top (if you have multiple JustCall numbers)
- Tap the Call button
The call connects through JustCall's network. Your JustCall number appears as the caller ID on the recipient's phone.
Call from contacts
- Tap the Contacts tab in the bottom navigation
- Search or browse for the contact you want to reach
- Tap the contact name, then tap the phone icon next to the number you want to dial
If the contact has multiple numbers, you see all of them listed. JustCall uses your default outbound number unless you change it before dialing.
Call from recent calls
- Tap the Recents tab to see your call history
- Find the call you want to return
- Tap the phone icon to call back
Recent calls show the direction (inbound/outbound), duration, and timestamp. Missed calls appear highlighted so you can prioritize callbacks.
Select your outbound number
If your account has multiple JustCall numbers, choose which one to use for each call:
- Before dialing, tap the number selector at the top of the dial pad
- Choose the number you want to display as your caller ID
- Dial the call
You can set a default outbound number in the app's Settings > Default Outbound Number so you do not have to select it every time.
Call quality on mobile networks
For the best call quality on mobile:
- Use Wi-Fi when available — Wi-Fi generally provides more stable audio than cellular data
- Stay on LTE or 5G — 3G connections may cause audio delays or drops
- Avoid switching networks mid-call — moving between Wi-Fi and cellular can briefly interrupt audio
- Close bandwidth-heavy apps — streaming video or large downloads can compete with call audio
If you experience persistent audio issues, check your network signal strength and try switching between Wi-Fi and cellular data.
