What Happens to Your Legacy Plan

  • No forced migration. You can stay on your legacy plan as long as your account remains active.
  • Legacy plans are frozen. You cannot add new legacy-plan features or change to a different legacy tier.
  • Price protection. Your legacy pricing is locked in. JustCall will not increase your per-user rate on a legacy plan.
  • New features require migration. Features released after June 2025 are only available on new plans. This includes new AI capabilities, updated analytics dashboards, and new integration connectors.

How to Migrate to a New Plan

  1. Go to Settings → Billing → Overview.
  2. You will see a banner: "New plans available — compare and switch."
  3. Click Compare Plans to see a side-by-side view of your current legacy plan and the recommended new plan.
  4. Select the new plan you want.
  5. Review the pricing summary, including any prorated charges.
  6. Click Confirm Migration.

Migration is immediate. Your new plan features are available right away. There is no downtime.

What to Watch Out For

SMS allowance changes

Legacy plans with included SMS allowances switch to usage-based billing. If you send a high volume of SMS, consider adding an SMS bundle to avoid unexpected charges. See JustCall Pricing Guide for bundle options.

AI Call Scoring location

On legacy Premium, AI Call Scoring was included. On new plans, it is only available on Business. If you rely on AI Scoring, you need the Business plan.

Minimum seat requirement

If you are a solo user on a legacy Starter plan (1 seat), migrating requires a minimum of 2 seats on any new plan.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I migrate back to my legacy plan? No. Migration to a new plan is one-way. Legacy plans cannot be reactivated after migration.

Will my call recordings and data carry over? Yes. All recordings, SMS history, contacts, and integrations are preserved during migration.

Does my phone number change? No. All your numbers remain the same.

When is the best time to migrate? Migrate at the start of a new billing cycle to avoid prorated charges. If you want a clean transition, export an invoice summary first for comparison.
