Branded Calling
Branded Calling displays your business name on recipients' phone screens during outgoing calls — replacing the unknown number experience with a verified, recognizable identity.
Available on: Contact your Customer Success Manager (US only)
Why it matters
Outbound teams face declining answer rates as carriers and devices increasingly filter unrecognized numbers. Branded Calling addresses this by:
- Higher answer rates — Recipients see your brand and are more likely to pick up
- Bypassing call screening — Verified brand displays avoid AI-based screening from Apple and Google
- Fewer spam complaints — Recognized brands generate fewer reports
- Faster conversations — Context on-screen means less time explaining who you are
- More first-attempt connections — Less time spent chasing callbacks
How it differs from Caller ID and CNAM
| Feature | What it shows | Limit | Availability |
|---|---|---|---|
| Caller ID (CLI) | Phone number only | — | Global |
| CNAM | Caller name | 15 characters | US only |
| Branded Calling | Business name + call reason | 32 characters | US only |
Branded Calling supports formats like "JustCall — Demo Reminder" so recipients know both who's calling and why.
Set up Branded Calling
- Verify you're the account owner (check Team Members section)
- Your Customer Success Manager will contact you with a registration form
- Complete the form with your business details
- JustCall verifies the information and enables the feature
Important notes
- Currently available in the United States only
- Works alongside STIR/SHAKEN authentication for layered call legitimacy
- Reduces spam reporting but doesn't guarantee protection from all filtering
