Set Up Appointment Scheduler

This guide walks you through creating your first booking page, connecting your calendar, setting availability, and enabling SMS confirmations. The entire setup takes about five minutes.

Step 1: Create a booking page

  1. Go to Appointment Scheduler in the left sidebar
  2. Click Create Booking Page
  3. Enter a name for the page (for example, "15-Minute Discovery Call" or "Product Demo")
  4. Set the meeting duration (15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes)
  5. Click Create

Step 2: Set availability windows

Define when contacts can book time with you:

  1. Open your booking page settings
  2. Under Availability, select the days of the week you are available
  3. Set the start and end time for each day
  4. Click Save

JustCall only shows time slots that fall within these windows. If you have a connected calendar, busy times are automatically blocked out.


Step 3: Add buffer time

Buffer time prevents back-to-back bookings so you have time to prepare between meetings.

  1. In your booking page settings, find Buffer Time
  2. Set a buffer before the meeting (for example, 5 minutes to review notes)
  3. Set a buffer after the meeting (for example, 10 minutes for wrap-up)
  4. Save

Step 4: Integrate your calendar

Connect Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook so availability is accurate:

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations
  2. Select Google Calendar or Outlook
  3. Authorize the connection
  4. Return to your booking page and confirm the calendar is linked

When a booking is confirmed, JustCall creates a calendar event automatically with the contact's details and any notes they included during booking.


Step 5: Enable SMS confirmations

  1. In your booking page settings, go to Notifications
  2. Toggle on SMS Confirmation — the contact receives a text when they book
  3. Toggle on SMS Reminders — reminders sent 24 hours and 1 hour before the meeting
  4. Customize the message text if needed
  5. Save

SMS confirmations and reminders reduce no-shows significantly. They are sent from your JustCall number, so the contact can reply if they need to reschedule.


Share your booking page

Once setup is complete, copy your booking link from the top of the page. Share it via email, SMS, your website, or social media. See Appointment Scheduler for all sharing options.
